Lighting pilot

How a measured lighting pilot works

A lighting pilot begins with an assessment of bills, light counts, layout and operating hours, and an agreement on scope, responsibilities and success criteria. IntelliPLUS monitoring then records the existing lighting load before any change is made.

LumiPLUS is implemented in the same pilot area, monitoring continues, and the measured before and after consumption is compared with the documented forecast. Your committee reviews the results against the agreed criteria before deciding on a wider rollout.

Common questions

Where should a building owner start?

Usually with measurement. The IntelliPLUS Smart Energy Snapshot shows where and when electricity is used, so improvements can be prioritised rather than assumed.

Can existing lighting be upgraded?

LumiPLUS is retrofit-friendly, subject to site verification. Existing fixtures, wiring and mounting conditions are reviewed during the assessment.

How are savings confirmed?

Savings require site measurement. Baseline monitoring records the existing load, and consumption after the change is compared against it, accounting for differences in operating hours and occupancy. See the lighting POC process.

What does a farm or fishery project involve?

AgriPLUS starts with a site survey, then sensor and connectivity selection, dashboard and alert configuration, validation and handover.
